Attleboro dentist Doctor Nahed Lakkis

Dental visits don’t have to be a nerve-racking, unpleasant experience. Whether you’re coming in for a simple checkup or your smile needs a complete makeover, Dr. Nahed Lakkis is happy to make sure you feel comfortable, valued, and heard. He can’t wait to meet you and help you smile with more confidence. Keep reading to learn more about him!

Why I Became a Dentist

As a child, Dr. Lakkis suffered from a severe overbite. It made chewing and eating challenging and made him feel self-conscious. With the help of his orthodontist and a few years of treatment, his smile—and his self-esteem—were completely transformed. Knowing how powerful functional and cosmetic dentistry can be, he wanted to make a difference in other people’s lives. Every day, he loves breaking down barriers and building trust that helps our patients achieve their healthiest, strongest, and most brilliant smiles.

My Educational Background

Originally from West Roxbury, MA, Dr. Lakkis is a proud alumnus of Catholic Memorial High School. After graduating from Boston College, he studied at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He has earned certification in Invisalign, CPR (BLS and ACLS), and CEREC and CAD/CAM restorations. Dr Lakkis went on to complete a year-long advanced training program at the VA Hospital in Boston while caring for our valued veterans. Here, his skills were expanded to include endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and implant placement. He also has advanced training in bio-mimetic dentistry.

My Life Outside the Dental Office

Dr. Lakkis is a huge a sports fan, particularly of the Patriots and Celtics. Every day, he enjoys running and going to the gym. In fact, in 2017, he ran the Boston Marathon! (He’s glad he completed it, but he won’t do it again!) He also loves being with his loud and loving Lebanese family whenever he can and traveling to warmer places than the Northeast.
